Taylor Swift fans think they've spotted huge X-rated Easter egg in her engagement post with Travis Kelce

It's been three days since Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce took the internet by storm with their engagement announcement on Instagram.

The soon-to-be married couple shared their joyous news on the social media platform this past Tuesday (26 August), delighting their millions of followers with a five-photo carousel that beautifully documented the heartfelt proposal.

The proposal took place against a breathtaking backdrop of lush greenery intertwined with pink and white blossoms, set at the NFL star's Leawood estate in Kansas.

Now, Swifties are speculating that this specific backdrop might be yet another Easter egg from Taylor, hinting at her upcoming album, The Life of a Showgirl, which is due to be released this autumn (3 October).

However, this Easter egg is considerably more risqué than the ones we've encountered before...

In the engagement announcement photo series, the couple captioned it: "Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married [dynamite emoji]."

Yet, what many initially overlooked was where Taylor tagged her fiancé in the first image - specifically on a large tree trunk or 'wood'.

And, as we are aware, 'wood' is a euphemism for, well, an erect penis.

One user on X commented: "Can we talk about how Taylor tagged Travis on wood?"

"I'M SCREAMING SHE IS SO UNSERIOUS MOTHER!" another exclaimed enthusiastically, while a third added: "And you know she was just giggling, kicking her feet waiting to see how long it would take us to catch on."

Swifties quickly noticed what they believe is an X-rated Easter egg in the engagement photo dump (Instagram/@killatrav)

Another fan gushed: "I absolutely love her."

"I think you discovered an Easter egg," suggested a fifth fan, while a sixth agreed: "It might be an Easter egg for her song called Wood on her new album."

A seventh enthusiastically declared: "So the track Wood is officially about Travyy!!"

"We all know what Wood is all about," stated another, and a final user on X echoed: "So track 9 is about him after all!"

The 12 tracks on The Life of a Showgirl include; 'The Fate of Ophelia', 'Elizabeth Taylor', 'Opalite', 'Father Figure', 'Eldest Daughter', 'Ruin the Friendship', 'Actually Romantic', 'Wi$h Li$t', 'Wood', 'CANCELLED!', 'Honey' and the titular 'The Life of a Showgirl (feat. Sabrina Carpenter)'.

So, is Taylor's choice of tagging location for Trav a clue that 'Wood' will be about him, or is it simply another instance of fans running wild with their seemingly endless Easter egg theories?
