Paris Jackson remains resilient amidst online backlash this week, following her contentious appearance at a Paris Fashion Week event in a completely sheer dress.
The model and actress faced criticism for her outfit choice at Stella McCartney's event in the French capital on Wednesday (5 Mar). However, she has since addressed her detractors online.
For those who missed the haute-couture spectacle, Jackson, 26, attended the event in a black, long-sleeved, off-the-shoulder sheer gown. She complemented the ensemble with nude underwear, a small black handbag, and matching stilettos.

While some attendees considered her attire high-fashion, others were not as impressed, with many criticizing Jackson - the middle child and only daughter of the late singer Michael Jackson - on social media.
Fortunately, the star has brushed off the harsh critiques, and in the days following, she took to Instagram to address the backlash with a nuanced anthropological perspective.
Posting a video of herself online, she began by stating: "I’ve received a lot of mixed feedback regarding my clothing choice for the Stella McCartney show. Let's just say there’s been a significant amount of criticism.
"I want to emphasize that everyone is entitled to their own opinions, and, we’re animals. At one point, we followed the laws of nature."

Jackson spoke of a 'harmony' among humans that 'worked really well' until 'humans decided we're not animals'.
"We decided to wear clothes and to dominate all other animals, and to be different," she continued in her critique.
"This segregation was born, and spoiler alert, that's why things got really bad."

In another social media post, the blonde beauty openly discussed her outfit choice.
"I don't quite understand why the human body causes such discomfort for so many people," she admitted. "It’s just a body.
"We see other naked animals all the time."
Offering advice to her followers, Jackson concluded her heartfelt message: "Don't feel uncomfortable with our bodies.

"It’s your body, you have one, I have one."
And in a third clip, she shared a final thought: "We’re all animals. We all have bodies. It’s not that significant a deal…
"Stop freaking out about nipples, man!"
