British mum-of-three who could face death penalty makes chilling five-word remark as she awaits sentencing

A British mother of three is facing the possibility of the death penalty after being accused of smuggling cocaine worth hundreds of thousands of dollars into Bali.

Lisa Stocker, originally from East Sussex, was detained with her partner, Jon Collyer, at Bali's international airport earlier this year (February 1).

Both 39 years old, the couple traveled from the UK via Qatar and were apprehended in Bali after a routine airport X-ray revealed suspicious packages.

They first appeared in court alongside a third individual, 31-year-old Phineas Float, also from East Sussex, who was accused of receiving the packages at an airport hotel on February 3.

During one of her initial court appearances, Stocker claimed: "I was framed."

She also stated that a friend in the UK gave her 17 packets of Angel Delight, which actually contained 992mg of cocaine, asking her to bring them to Bali, adding: "Jon and I had previously traveled to Bali twice carrying packages from [him].

"I was shocked when I found out it was cocaine."

Collyer mentioned he funded the Bali trip himself, stating about the third man: "[He] told me the package contained snacks like chocolate, pudding, and chips.”

However, lead prosecutor Made Umbara noted the man gave Collyer £2,130 to cover the couple’s accommodation and flights.

On Tuesday this week (July 15), she reiterated these claims, insisting she was unaware that her luggage contained narcotics and was seen breaking down in tears as she apologized.

Her husband Collyer admitted their actions were 'very stupid' and assured Judge Heriyanti: "I won't do it again."

Stocker expressed in a poignant five-word statement that she 'won't trust people so easily' in the future.

Float, however, remained silent after previously engaging in a heated exchange during an earlier hearing.

Last month, on his way to the courtroom for the first day of his trial, he shouted at a journalist to 'f**k off'.

All three are scheduled to receive their sentences next week, and under strict Indonesian drug laws, they could face the death penalty.

However, their lawyer Sheiny Pangkahila previously suggested that the trio might instead receive lengthy prison sentences - potentially between 15 to 20 years.

Lead prosecutor Umbara, however, has now asked the judge to show leniency and 'sentence the defendants to one year in prison' each, minus the time already served.
