Discussing the details on a recent episode of Travis' New Heights podcast, Taylor excitedly shared: "[It's like] he was standing outside my window with a boombox, saying, 'I want to date you! Do you want to go on a date with me? I made you a friendship bracelet! Do you want to date me?'"

This week, MailOnline decided to inquire with Travis' ex, Kayla, about her thoughts on the engagement—not awkward at all.

During a red carpet interview at the House of Champion event in New York, a reporter asked: "Do you have any comment on Travis' engagement?"

As expected, Kayla swiftly diverted the conversation back to the event she was attending.

She simply responded: "Oh, no, no, no!"

Kayla then added: "But I'm really thrilled to be here at Champion though, this is a fantastic party."

Before the slightly awkward question was posed, Kayla confirmed her current relationship status as single.

"We have many gentlemen inquiring if you're single," the journalist mentioned.

She laughed and replied: "Oh really? Tell them yes, I am. Absolutely, for anyone asking!"

When asked about the type of man she's interested in, the influencer elaborated: "Oh, I adore a very honest man. A man of excellent character, someone who enjoys having fun, is spontaneous, and has a great relationship with their family."

She added: "Having really good girl friends is important too, the list goes on!"
