Harry Potter star Jessie Cave says she was banned from event because of her OnlyFans page

Harry Potter star Jessie Cave has disclosed that she was excluded from a particular event due to her presence on OnlyFans.

While the subscription-based platform is primarily recognized for its sexually explicit content, it also hosts a variety of creators who focus on much less adult-oriented material. Among these creators is the Harry Potter star, who announced in March of this year that she had embarked on her OnlyFans journey.

Although she acknowledges producing 'fetish content', Cave has previously explained on her Before We Break Up Again podcast that her account is not a 'sexual one'. She emphasized, "It’s a fetish. Fetish doesn’t necessarily mean sexual."

So, what exactly is this particular fetish?

Harry Potter star, Jessie Cave, has revealed how OnlyFans has impacted her professional and social life (Warner Bros.)

The 38-year-old English actress, known for portraying Ron Weasley’s girlfriend Lavender Brown in three of the franchise's films, shared that she is exploring the ASMR side, offering her subscribers 'the best quality hair sounds' and sharing 'very sensual stuff'—one might call it 'OnlyStrands'.

"It's targeted towards individuals who have an interest or fetish involving hair. I've been creating a lot of hair-related videos on Instagram for quite some time and noticed the comments," Cave mentioned.

"They’re never indecent or lascivious. The comments aren't dirty, but there's definitely a lot of interest in the hair aspect, so I thought, 'Why not do something very niche?'"

This career choice has evidently affected other aspects of Cave's professional life. On her self-titled Substack, she revealed that she was recently barred from a Harry Potter fan convention.

"I found out that I wasn’t booked for a Harry Potter convention recently because I’m now on OnlyFans," she wrote, according to Collider.

"They said it was because it’s a 'family show and OnlyFans is associated with porn'. This confused me since many actors attending conventions have participated in TV and films featuring sex scenes and nudity. I’m just playing with my hair!"

She continued: "I am not upset about potentially attending no more Harry Potter conventions. With a new cast emerging, it’s a different era. Plus, I’ve attended conventions for over 15 years and have accumulated plenty of photos and wizard memorabilia."

And what prompted the move to OnlyFans?

According to her Substack, it's a step to 'get out of debt'.

"One year. I’ll give it one year. My goal? To make the house safe, remove the arsenic/lead wallpaper, build a new roof, etc. My aim? To get out of debt. My aim? To empower myself. To show those who have misjudged me that I'm not so sweet. To invest time in something I never did before: self-love," she explained.
